David Bass has traveled the world to paint bold and evocative landscapes that capture the beauty and character of the particular region he is painting. He first traveled to the Big Bend and Davis Mountains to get a first-hand view of the country with no intention of painting on that initial trip. Subsequently he has returned to the region on many occasions with paintbrush in hand and continues to build a body of work that depicts the area in vibrant detail.
